A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination ( Academic or Vocational Stream ) conducted by the Govt of Tamilnadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent by the Syndicate of the University of Madras and with Accountancy and Commerce as the subjects of study in the Higher Secondary Course.

B.Com (General) graduates have excellent access to job opportunities in various sectors such as banking and insurance, IT, MNC Companies and private sectors. Graduates during the course of study would acquire sufficient knowledge to appear for competitive exams such as ICWA, CA, ACS, BSRB, UPSC, TNPSC etc for their careers in the Govt sector.
Graduates can also pursue their higher studies by joining courses such as M.Com, MBA, MCA etc.
