Objective of the Visit
The primary objective of the industrial visit was to provide students with practical exposure to port operations, logistics management and real-time industrial processes. It aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Summary of the Visit
The students and staff reached Adani Kattupalli Port on the scheduled date. The visit began with an introductory session conducted by the port officials, where they explained the functioning of the port, safety measures and operational workflow.
Students were guided through various sections of the port, including cargo handling areas, container terminals and control units. They observed the use of advanced machinery and technology in loading and unloading goods, as well as the management of logistics and supply chain processes.
The officials also explained the importance of automation, security systems and efficient management practices in large-scale port operations.
