Induction Programme 2025-26
Chief Guest: Dr. S. Thirumagan, M Sc., M Phil., Ph D. Dean (S&H), SRMIST, Ramapuram Campus, SRM Institute of Science & Technology.
The Induction Programme was organized by the Management, Principal and Staff and senior students of the College to welcome the first-year students of the academic year 2025-26. The parents of the first-year students also accompanied the students.
The programme started with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu. This was followed by the lighting of the kuthuvilakku. The Chief Guest, Vice Chairperson, a staff member, a parent and a fresher student representing the various segments of the Magna community lit each wick of the sacred lamp.
Dr. T. Jeyachandran, Principal. MCAS, introduced the Chief Guest and welcomed the gathering. Dr. S. Thirumagan, the Chief Guest and a seasoned academician placed on record his deep appreciation for the wonderful infrastructure, excellent teaching faculty and a lush green campus of the college and urged the students to make the best use of the available facilities to develop their academic standards and hon their life skills. Free text books were distributed to the students. Mrs S Revathi, Asst Prof, Dept of Commerce proposed the vote of thanks.
