Annual Sports Meet - 05.04.2024
The Annual Sports Meet was held on 05.04.2024 in the sprawling college grounds. Dr. V. Joseph, Principal, MCAS, lit the Olympic Torch and inaugurated the meet.
Track Events viz 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres, 1,200 metres and field events viz javeline throw, shot put were conducted for men.
Track Events viz 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres and field events viz javeline throw, shot put were conducted for women.
Intramural games tournament in volley ball, kabaddi and cricket were also conducted as part of the meet.
The daylong event saw the active and enthusiastic participation of all the students.
Medals, trophies and certificates were distributed to all winners.
Mr. V. Murugan, B. Com (General) won the overall Individual Championship for men and Ms. M. Manju BCA won the overall Individual Championship for women.
The event drew to a close with the extinguishing of the Olympic Torch.
