The Cultural Festival is a confluence of several events in one. Besides it being a Cultural Event, it has been also a freshers’ day to break the ice between the seniors and the freshers. Also, it was the occasion to welcome the new Principal Dr T Jeyachandran and to bid farewell to the outgoing Principal Dr V Joseph.

The programme began with a prayer song followed by the welcome address. Mr Jerry Prashant Devadas, Director, introduced the new Principal Dr T Jeyachandran to the staff and students. This was followed by variety entertainment such as a traditional group dance by the women, individual talent show and a colourful ramp walk. The Chairman, J. Devadas Nayagam then delivered the farewell address thanking the outgoing Principal Dr V Joseph for his significant contribution to the College in its formative years. The Vice – Chairperson, Mrs Ruby Devadas, presented Dr V Joseph with a memento. The outgoing Principal Dr V Joseph then replied to the farewell address. This again was followed by some more entertainment such a western dance by the men, a mime depicting the ill effects of mobile phone usage and a group dance by the men.

A vote of thanks was proposed and tea and snacks were served to the staff and students.
