Overview

The Workshop on Placement Readiness and Skill Development aimed to equip students with essential employability skills and prepare them to face placement interviews with confidence.

Objective of the Workshop

The primary objective of the programme was to:

  • Enhance students’ placement readiness

  • Develop communication, interview, and professional skills

  • Provide practical guidance on cracking interviews

  • Build confidence and career awareness among students

Proceedings of the Workshop

The workshop commenced with a welcome address by Ms. R. Esther Martina, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration. She welcomed the resource persons from ISSM Business School and the student participants, highlighting the importance of skill development and career preparedness in today’s competitive job market.

The session was highly interactive and informative. The resource persons from ISSM Business School shared valuable insights on communication skills, resume building, interview techniques, professional attitude and corporate expectations. Real-life examples and practical tips were provided to help students understand how to crack their first interview successfully.

Certificate of Completion

As part of the event, Certificates of Completion for the programme “How to Crack Your First Interview”, organised by the Association of Intellectual Managers (AIM) at Magna College, were awarded to the following students:

  • Hemalatha – II B.Com (General)

  • Mouli – I BCA

Their achievement was appreciated and served as motivation for other students.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Nandini, III B.Com (General). She expressed her sincere gratitude to the management, principal, ISSM Business School resource persons, faculty members, and students for their active participation and support in making the programme a grand success.
