The College in accordance with its mission , has initiated various schemes to improve the employment opportunities of the students studying in the College. One such scheme is a training programme for the TNPSC Gr 4. The inauguration of the training programme for the TNPSC took place on 20.08.2026.

The programme started with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu. This was followed by the lighting of the kuthuvilakku.

Mrs. Ruby Devadas, Vice Chairperson, MCAS, introduced the Chief Guest and welcomed the gathering.

Thiru P Murugesan, a TN Govt Officer in the rank of a DRO and hailing from an obscure nearby village narrated his inspirational life story from nothingness to greatness. Thiru P Murugesan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, in October 1997 joined the Police Training marking the first milestone of his dream to serve in the Govt. In 2010, he cleared the TNPSC Group 2 examination and became an Audit Officer (LFA level). In 2012, he cleared the TNPSC Group 1 examination and was appointed as a Deputy Collector, a major turning point in his career. In 2015, he was appointed as Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) in Ranipet. In 2019, he was promoted as District Revenue Officer (DRO). Having served in similar capacities in various departments, Thiru P Murugesan is currently the Asst Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation.

This was followed by a PPT by Mr. Pradeep Subramani BE., MBA. to create an awareness about the different employment opportunities in various sectors. An interactive session with the students was also conducted.

Prizes were distributed to meritorious students and certificates were presented to 23 students who successfully completed the TALLY PRIME course conducted in the College.

The programme concluded with a proposal of the vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem
