The Magna College of Arts and Science, is managed by the JDN Educational Trust.

The College is recognised by the Govt of Tamil Nadu, Higher Education Dept, vide GO No: 124 dated 06.07.2022 and is affiliated to the University of Madras vide L. No. A1/RM/MCAS/UG/2022/11540 dated 07.12.2022.

The college is a self financing co – educational institution.
