Educational Tour to Kodaikanal
The College organized a 2 nights and 3 days educational tour to Kodaikanal for final-year students. The tour was arranged to provide students with relaxation, exposure to nature and an opportunity to create lasting memories before completing their academic program.
A total of 13 final-year students participated in the tour with Mr. S. Thirumalai and Mrs. S. Revathi accompanying the students and were responsible for their supervision, safety and well-being throughout the trip.
The journey commenced on 2nd February from Chennai Egmore Railway Station by Pandian Express. The students reached Madurai in the morning of 3rd February and proceeded to Kodaikanal by road.
Day 1 (3rd February): Students visited Silver Cascade Falls, Coaker's Walk, and Kodaikanal Lake, experiencing the scenic beauty and pleasant climate of the hill station.
Day 2 (4th February): This included visits to major viewpoints and attractions such as Upper Lake View Point, Silent Valley View, Pine Forest, Guna Caves, Moir Point, and Bryant Park. The day concluded with a campfire session that encouraged interaction and strengthened bonding among students.
Day 3 (5th February): The group visited Kurinji Andavar Temple, Chettiar Park, and Vadipatti Madha Kovil. In the evening, returned to Madurai exploring the special foods at Madurai and boarded the Mahal Superfast Express, reaching Tambaram on 6th February.
The tour was successfully completed with proper coordination and ensured safety throughout the journey. It provided students with valuable experiences, strengthened friendships, and created cherished memories during their final year.
